Who is the lucky one?

Yesterday went Causeway Point with my relatives and I checked out the price of video cam. It costs about $259 but don't know if that's the slashed price. When I checked out the price in Bugis, it costs $1499!! So expensive! At least I can still afford the one in causeway. On sunday, I watched long2 feng4 dou4 on channel u. The storyline's quite nice, anyone who watched it will also find it touching and meaningful. But I don't like the sad ending. If only it's a happy ending then the show will be perfect. Too bad... Chapter 8: Who is the lucky one?

Jacqueline turned, only to find Davis standing there gasping for breath.

" Why are you here? Are you all right? I'm sorry, I must have hurt you by telling you straight in the face that I'm not interested in you. You're not trying to kill yourself right? I just saw you walking aimlessly into the sea and you only stopped walking when I called out your name." Davis spoke with a worried tone.

" Of course not! I'd not kill myself just because of a small setback! I'm not so pessimistic! I'm just thinking of something, I'll not be so stupid to commit suicide. I came here because I like to feel the sea breeze pricking against my skin and the surge of the waves made me appear closer to mother nature." Jacqueline told him.

On the way back, Jacqueline felt that she was being fooled. It seemed that Heaven was making fun of her. Here she was, trying to forget Davis, but Davis was the one whom Jacqueline must give him the chance to be her boyfriend. The thing is, Davis would not agree to this even if she wanted so much for it to happen. Davis had made it clear to her about how he felt towards her and Jacqueline had better give up the hope of going steady with Davis.

If only Jeff was the one who found me... I'd have given him a chance, but it seemed... impossible now. Jacqueline thought. It seemed that Jacqueline and Jeff were not meant to be together. This was the first time that Jeff did not manage to find her when she had gone into hiding. This was also the first time that Davis found her as he usually did not know where Jacqueline would go when she wanted to hide from them.

Maybe Davis was starting to know more about me or understand me better. Maybe Jeff doesn't really understand me like he seemed to. Jacqueline thought.

The next few days in school, Jacqueline and Jeff did not talk to each other anymore. They were like strangers to each other. Jeff seemed like he did not know how to face Jacqueline after that incident when Jacqueline blamed Jeff for his help. He avoided her when he got the chance. Meanwhile, Davis brought her the latest news of Jeff but it was a bad one.

" Jeff is leaving for America this evening at 5p.m. There are some things I think you need to know. I know I should have told you this earlier, but Jeff forbids me to." Davis stopped to catch his breath.
