CNY eve was spent eating steamboat at home instead of going to relative's house and meeting up with my cousins. The thing that I like about steamboat is that we get to gather around and eat steamboat and joke around. The only thing that I missed this CNY eve. Finally cut my hair, 留了一年的长发终于舍得剪了。
This year's CNY is definitely a quieter one, did not meet a lot of relatives, only my cousins and sister. I'm not complaining because I'm spending time with those closer to me. Even if we go to our relative's house, we will go inside a room and gamble or go out to take pictures. No CNY mood this year though, doesn't feel like it's CNY, not as lively as before.
Went to find our cousins who live just a few streets away from us, I still dress up cause I already bought new clothes previously but did not get a chance to wear them. If I did not dress up, then it will really not feel like CNY. I do have some friends who did not buy new clothes cause they are not going house visiting at all. Surprisingly, people on the streets are dressing up as well, luckily I'm not the only one if not I will be overdressed. My bro did not buy new clothes but I forced him to wear something nice to avoid being the exceptional one haha.
Played ban luck, my favourite CNY game, I've more luck for ban luck haha. Learnt a new game, poker, exciting game because you can either lose a lot or win a lot in one round. Sounds similar to in between but you don't need to use much brain for in-between but there are a lot of possibilities for poker. When you have too much confidence in your own cards and did not think of other possibilities, that's when you will lose. Last year lost money, this year recoup back haha.
Went to my sis house on 初二，please don't ask me to play in between or baccarat, these two are totally not my game. I always get dealt ban luck cards for baccarat so I always lose a lot, tested and proven for many years. This year's luck is not bad cause I won some money, even if I lost, it's not a lot either.
