The sacrifices of Jacqueline's angel

Suddenly hope that I'll be able to have a video cam and mp3 player. Maybe if I manages to have a video cam, I'll start filming everyone or just play around with it filming everything around me. Find it fun la, but that's not until I've the money to buy it. Must save up now!!! Today is the guys turn to perform. Don't know if Daren will win anot, of cause I'll want him to win, but nat's a powerful opponent. I'll be watching the result show tonight and will be very nervous. I remembered asking feimin who she support in pss2, then she told me nat. But she also added that daren looked like loanshark, that's why she don't like. OMG!!! Can't imagine she said that! Or did he really look like a loanshark? I don't think so. By the way, sarah, i don't think I'm frustrated when I'm your peer tutor, I think it's quite fun at that time. We'll do our work then after that chat. But I think the chatting time's the best la, cause I also lazy to do work. Haha...It's a good experience teaching you. All right, enough about my boring life, here's Chapter 7!

Chapter 7: The sacrifices of Jacqueline's angel
From the day Jeff agreed to help Jacqueline, she had not seen him in class anymore. However, she did see him having different girls by his side during basketball. She kept on wondering what happened to Jeff. She had always thought that Jeff was a faithful guy and would not change his girlfriend anyway, anyhow-- being with one girl today and a new one tomorrow. However, it did not seem to be the case now.

Jeff has had no time to be with Jacqueline, but Davis seemed to be always around her, while Jeff was not to be found anywhere near her. She found it strange and decided to ask someone, someone who would definitely knew why-- Erica.

"You really want to know why?" Erica inquired questioningly.

"Yes." Jacqueline answered with a firm tone.

"It's because of you. He wanted to help you, remember? You saw him going out with other girls. That's because he wanted to make sure all of them like him and no girls will be able to go near Davis, thus giving you the chance to be with him. But how long can he do that? Do you really think Davis will like you? Do you think he'll let Jeff carry on like this? It's gonna be tough for Jeff if Davis learnt of this. Jeff only listens to you, please, tell him to stop." Erica begged.

After knowing everything, Jacqueline ran to find Jeff. After much pains, she finally found him with another new girl. She reached over, grabbed Jeff's arm and pulled him away from the girl to another place.

"Jeff, it's enough. Stop this. I'm not going to accept your help anymore. I know you're good to me but let me do this myself. I want to pursue my own happiness myself. Never mind if I got hurt, what matters most is that you don't do things against your will. I'll prove his love for me, whether it exists or not. I know you're a good friend, but please, don't sacrifice yourself anymore. None of your sacrifices are going to help me, it'll only increase my troubles." Jacqueline uttered in between sobs.

"I'm sorry." That was all Jeff could say. Without another word, he walked off with his head hanging low. He must be depressed by what Jacqueline had just told him.

The next day, Jacqueline went to confront Davis and asked if he likes her. Davis' answer was what Jacqueline had expected to hear all along.

"No. I've always treated you like my little sister. Not like Jeff, he's really interested in you. Why not consider him? He's more suitable for you." Davis said.

Jacqueline was down in the dumps. She wanted to cry but there was no tears in her eyes. She went to the beach and thought to herself: She'll give whoever who manages to find her a chance to be her boyfriend.

"Jacqueline!" A man's voice echoed. Jacqueline turned, only to find...
