Will Jacqueline get her chance?

I saw Jun Yin starring in "Let it shine", but its only for a few seconds. They only filmed him studying but the main thing is about renfred and I think he's his friend studying with him. I'm not entirely sure if it's him, but it sure look like him lor. Sometimes I really wonder if any of you got view my story cause you all never once comment on it. Huiyan also got write story but her friends got comment. Anyway, after much thinking and killing of brain cells, here's chapter 10!

Chapter 10: Will Jacqueline get her chance?

2 years later...

It is Jacqueline's graduation day today. It was the most important day of her life not because she had finally graduated, but because of Jeff's return.

I'd definitely be at your graduation ceremony to celebrate with you no matter where I am. I'd fly or use whatever means of transport I could to get there if I'm far away from you. That's my promise to you. Jacqueline recalled what Jeff told her 2 years before.

She was anticipating and looking forward to this day. She knew Jeff would keep his promise and be there.

He'd definitely come. Jacqueline kept on repeating these words in her mind.

She kept on looking at the pillars and every corner of the hall to see if Jeff was hiding somewhere. Yet, in vain.

"Hey, Jacqueline! Congratulations! You've finally graduated, but why do you look so upset? Is anything worrying you?" Davis walked towards Jacqueline with his hands behind his back.

"Thanks, Davis. Don't worry, I'm fine." Jacqueline replied with an assuring tone.

"Can I ask you something? It's actually about what I asked you a few days before. You know, about you being my girlfriend. So, do you have the answer now?"

"I'm sorry, Davis, but I'll stick to my original answer I gave you a few days before."

"Didn't you reconsider? I mean, you like me, don't you? This is a great opportunity for you to fulfill your dream. It's your dream to be able to go steady with me right?"

"Yeah, you were right. I liked you, but it's all in the past. My affections for you were not love, it was... more of a crush. It's not until the departure of Jeff did I realise that I needed Jeff more than I needed you. I know it's all too late and I regret treating Jeff the way I used to in the past. I wanted to make amendments, but I can't!"

"It's human's nature. We'd only learn to appreciate things only when we lost them. Since you've made your stand clear to Jeff, it's time you guys meet up and have a chat."

With that, Davis stretched out his hand, which was holding his handphone behind his back, and motioned for Jacqueline to take the handphone.
