There isn't any christmas exchange with the Teo's because some of them are travelling overseas and we couldn't find a date where everyone can make it. So sad, this is the first time we didn't have christmas exchange :( On a side note, I finally found a blue christmas tree! This is by far my favourite haha.
Dinner at I'm Kim korean bbq with bel and min, had cravings for korean bbq. Ate a lot of my favourite kimchi, their pancakes are nice, garlic chicken and volcano chicken are good too. Whatever meat they can't finish, they just throw it to me, want me to eat more so I can grow fatter haha. I actually prefer mushroom soup than collagen soup, too full to try the seaweed and korean ginseng chicken soup. It's not bad but I don't really like it, still feel that wang daebak is better. They have a time limit of 1.5 hours for the buffet. I don't like the idea of having a time limit, especially for buffet. The queue was still very long when we left, is it really that nice?
Wasn't too full so we went over to createaf waffles at cathay. They have 1-for-1 promotion but we had to order full size waffles instead of half. Their waffle is good, worth a try, don't really like earl grey lavender ice cream :( Salted caramel suits my taste more. Had our annual christmas exchange, our theme is starbucks. I managed to find the snowman cup both of them wanted after checking out 5 outlets. I guess I'm just lucky. I even facebook messaged starbucks to find out which outlet has it, but they only replied after I bought it. Both of them were still talking about it during dinner, they are sad that it was sold out. They went to a lot of outlets too but couldn't find it and I just kept quiet all the way. Too bad for bel that it was min who got it, she seems really surprised and happy when she saw it :) Mission accomplished!
We were talking about the 5 love languages and decided to do an online test to find out what was our love language. I was expecting mine to be quality time and it turns out that I do understand myself well enough. Next was acts of service, the other 3 was much lower (gifts, words of affirmation and physical touch). Well, I admit I'm a sticky person but not always. I still need some 'me' time.

Had lunch at bottura, ordered pizza and pasta, had to help yx finish her pizza. I can only manage 2 slices before I give up, too full to continue. Not too bad, will recommend their pasta rather than pizza. I still prefer the pizza at peperoni pizzeria. Their manager still went around to ask if everything is all right, seems like they really care about customers' satisfaction. Singing is satisfying as usual, held my mini J concert as usual haha.
Discussed about our next overseas trip, wanted to go bkk but her only worries were it might be a little unsafe for only 2 girls to travel around bkk. We don't have many common friends. Since we will be together the whole time, I don't want to go with people that I'm not close with or don't really know. I've been wanting to go there for quite some time. We did discuss about this bkk trip while we were on the flight to tw but all we talked about was we will go together since she doesn't mind accompanying me to bkk. Maybe I will have to go with other friends then, at least it will be safer with more people. Both of us seem like easy targets.
Something happened, twice and it caught my attention, made me frightened for a moment. Not sure if the women around me are too paranoid or I really didn't pay much attention to my surroundings. Once, I happened to sit in the middle of a guy and girl, the girl suddenly told me to be careful of the guy beside as he keeps moving close to her just now. I don't feel him moving close to me though but it scared me for a second and I started being wary. The second time, another women, a total stranger again, suddenly told me that the guy is standing very close behind me. The thing is, I don't feel that there's someone standing very close, in fact I don't feel anything at all. Of course I started to be wary again and moved far away from him in the train. I didn't notice anything strange though, nothing happened in the train. I should start being more careful in future.

Tried baja fresh mexican grill, it's more like fast food outlet but price is slightly higher. Ordered spicy chicken burritos, wasn't too bad, at least I like it. Portion was too big for me, can't finish it. My face is getting more chubby :(
Had sinma frog claypot porridge and zichar at geylang, was very hungry when we reached there. Waited for the rest till 8, decided to go there first cause we are too hungry. They keep asking me to eat more, afraid that rice bucket won't be full. I usually eat more than 1 bowl of rice, well I did eat 3 bowls of porridge. 7 of us tried to squeeze in evil twin's car, poor evil twin don't even have sufficient space to sit. She keeps sliding down, almost sitting on the floor already. Our legs are all numb when we got out. Went to butter studio cafe and chatted till 12, haven't gone out till so late for a long time.

Had lunch at nakhon thai at kovan, the food is cheap and good. Each of us paid only $9 plus, the only bad thing is it's not air-conditioned and the weather is rather warm. Ordered 3 sets of tomyam soup, kangkong, pandan chicken, minced pork for 11 of us. Went to nex to shop at adidas cause stef has 40% discount. Went to sogurt to rest for a while and have dessert.
Had dinner at nihon mura express, travelled all the way to kallang leisure park for bowling. Had to wait for about 30 minutes before we can play so some of them went ice-skating first. I'm afraid of falling down so I just sit there and watch them, not that I never try before. Cycling is different cause I can put my leg down to prevent myself from falling but my legs don't seem to be of much help in ice-skating. Bowling was fun, it's been a few years since I touched a bowling ball. Played 3 games, we won the team competition by 8 points, close shave! Managed 2 strikes and one spare, highest score is only 79 for me. Haven't been able to hit over 100, the only time I did it was in genting which was about 5 years back. I often go bowling with my poly mates few years ago so I was able to hit over 100. After we decided not to have team competition, most of them lost the motivation to bowl properly. You should have seen their competitiveness during team competition. Walked to prata shop near ssc for supper, walked back home and was very tired.
Finally tried haidilao with min & bel, the plan was postponed a few times, it's my first time whereas they have tried it already. Since I was early, I helped them sign up for free manicure service, took queue number and sat outside to wait. Heard that by folding many paper cranes, we can have discount but the papers are on the table. Since we are not sitting at the table, we don't get the chance to fold, not that I know how to fold. They did their manicure first before it's our turn to go in, waited for about 3-4 hours. The good thing is that they will give out some snacks like popcorn, fruits, drinks & ice-cream for those waiting. They will also provide apron, zip-lock bag to put your handphone so that it won't get oily/dirty, some cloth to cover your bags and hairbands to tie your hair once you go in. They will also help to change screen protector for you. Ordered 4 soup base since it's the same price as 2, tomato soup, herbal chicken, seafood & 麻辣。麻辣 is really spicy and I only drank half a bowl, I like herbal chicken but my favourite is tomato. It's a-la-carte so it's more expensive, paid about $33 per person. I don't mind trying again. Had a good laugh over some things min told us haha, totally unexpected.
Went to a friend's baby shower, babies are so cute~ They look fragile, don't really dare to carry babies who are only one month or few months old. I prefer babies who are about 6 months or older, they are much more fun when they start to interact with you. I can never understand babies' gibberish talk, I wonder how the adults know. Anyway her house deco is quite nice, I like those stickers she pasted on the walls, except for hello kitty. Everywhere I go I'll see hello kitty. Kids will like it. Next time my room's wall will be blue. She has a sitting area by the window, that's what I want for my future home too. I can sit there, read a book and stare out the window looking at the scenery when I'm tired, although all I'll see are blocks of flats. I thought I'll be able to see cute doggy but no chance of that happening, was disappointed but just no fate to see him, there's nothing I can do about it. No matter how disappointed you are, some people just don't care. 说话不算话，骗子。
Met up with dba01 people at nando's. Ordered peri peri flame-grilled butterfly chicken, you can choose the level of spiciness. The portion is quite small. Updated one another on our current situation and we're back to talking about our good old simple poly days. We had our stressful moments but we had our fun times too. I really miss those days, the strong bonds we fostered after doing tons of projects together. Wanted to eat dessert but couldn't find any seats so settled for starbucks instead and chatted till 10.
Happened to chance upon ex-classmate before meeting ei8ht and jackie, he's still as good looking as ever haha. Normally I'll pretend that I didn't see him and walked away but too bad he saw me too so I can't run away. I used to have a crush on him, didn't expect us to talk to each other again after so many years. Had dinner at peperoni pizzeria, no full attendance again. Ordered xxl pizza and some sides - calamari fritti, deep fried chicken wings and funghi portobello con pollo. I like the pizza and chicken wings. Ordered 2 different flavours for pizza - pancetta (pork) and prosciutto crudo di parma (pork). We are still hungry after eating all that so we ordered another L size pizza - salmone and probably quattro formaggi? I seriously can't remember. Without a doubt, pizza lover like me loves it. Talked about our current situation and started talking about ideal boyfriend. I think once you meet the one you have feelings for, all those ideals won't even matter. He may not meet all your criteria but you will still love him. There may be someone who fits all your criteria but you just don't feel anything for him. Went to llao llao to have frozen yogurt, not sure if the staff did it on purpose but they accidentally switched off the lights, sort of hinting us that they are closing soon. We got the hint and left immediately after eating.
I really don't like trains that stop at yishun. Me and jackie abandoned lays and boarded the next train. Not purposely one but we will usually wait for the next one rather than change train at yishun. Reached home at around 11 plus, damn tired and sleepy.

Meetup with min and bel at marina barrage, finally a different location other than the botanic gardens. It's been years since I've been there, 好怀念。Reached there at about 4 plus so it's not that hot, lesser people during that time, the crowd started to form at around sunset. Strong wind prevents us from taking nice pictures, our hair are all over the place. There's ndp preview that evening so initially we wanted to watch some fireworks at 8 plus but hungry us couldn't afford to skip dinner. We did see some of the fighter jets and helicopters flying past. The view was spectacular, watching it live is so much better than watching it on tv. Had dinner at dancing crab at the turf club outlet. Food was good but service was terrible, waited for very long before they finally served us. Even the people who came later than us have gotten their food already, we didn't even have our drinks served. Min couldn't stand it anymore and this is the first time I've seen her lose her temper. She is getting angrier every moment the staff came up with some excuses/lies. I did try my best to calm her down.
After that, the staff said our food will come in 5 minutes and it really did. They gave us complimentary bread and drinks too. We ordered seafood combo bag 1 which cost $88, truffle fries and crab cake. I think the price is reasonable, enough portion for the 3 of us, will definitely go there again, maybe will try out the one in orchard. They provided us with a plastic apron so that the sauce won't spill onto your clothes. I don't even need to wear it, it's still as clean even after eating. This shows how gentle I am haha. They just poured the crabs and other stuff onto the table and you just eat it without any plates or utensils, for some side dish they will still provide utensils. You can also choose the level of spiciness for the sauce. For those who love seafood or crabs, this is a place you must go. I feel like eating it again.
Had ajisen for brunch before teo heng. 这是我吃过最好吃的 ajisen 因为不用付钱！太开心了！All right, a bit exaggerating but I finally got my treat after so long, it just goes to show how happy I am :D 其实开心不是因为不用付钱而是觉得有人对我好所以才会觉得开心。I wish I can have more treats like this in future. Teo heng was fun but I'm running out of songs to sing, probably because I didn't update myself with the new songs.
Had dimsum at asia grand restaurant, reached there earlier to buy birthday cake. Celebrated jy & evil twin's birthday, it was meant to be a surprise, everything went well until the waiter asked how many candles does he need to put on the cake. Evil twin overhead, he spoilt the surprise just like that. Usually people will get the exact number of candles right? He had one job and he failed miserably. Gave them mushroom coin purse souvenir I got from taiwan. Went to raffles hotel to take pictures. Evil twin gave us a ride to the cathay, had drinks from cafe while waiting for our turn to play pool. It's been a really long time since I last played. 多亏师父的耐心教导，让我从一窍不通练到初学者阶段，也算不错了。只是我一直停留在初学者阶段，一直都没进步，师父也没继续再教了。I like to play pool, feel very happy and satisfied whenever the ball went inside the hole. I'm still not very good in planning the direction I want my ball to go. Kind yl invited me to her house to have dinner since I was going to eat alone at home, ordered pizza delivery. Not sure if I was too full or if it's food poisoning but I vomited and had diarrhea when I came home. 好辛苦, didn't sleep well the whole night.
Watched insidious chapter 3 with hk at cine, not used to watching movies at cine. Most of the time I will go to the cathay. The movie wasn't too scary, although I got scared a few times cause of the sudden loud sound effect after long moments of silence. Horror movies are always like that. Sometimes when I thought of the scenes, I'll be quite scared too.
发烧了，头好重好烧，整个人昏昏沉沉的，想睡觉。Doctor scared me by suspecting this could lead to dengue. My thoughts was why must it necessarily lead to dengue? Why can't it be just a normal fever? I was asked to go back to the doctor if any other symptoms start appearing or if my fever hasn't subsided after 4 days. I'm so glad it's just a fever and not dengue. 好久没发烧了，一发烧就要这样吓我。你一点都不在乎我一点都不关心我 :(
Went shopping at bugis street with min & bel, had dinner at aloy thai. Food is still as cheap and good. Discussed the places we want to go for our europe trip next year, due to some reasons we can't go london or france. What a pity. Need to start saving up, after dinner we continued our second round of shopping at ion.
Company treated us to watch 'Jurassic World' at cine, the much anticipated film I've been wanting to watch since last year. I love dinosaur films. Heard that rating wasn't that good but I still like it. It's free so even if it's not that good, it doesn't really matter. I know I'm very late in discovering this but I don't even know that cine theatre has restroom inside. Partly because I always went toilet before going in. 我的眼睛真的不知道长在哪里，不知道在看什么，什么都没有注意到。Reached home at 11 plus, was very tired at work today.
