Simple is happiness:))

This post shall be dedicated to huikoon, yunxin and shawn:) I know you all felt guilty about not giving me as much surprises as what my friends/cousins/family did, but nevertheless, you still tried to have some surprises for me:) I don't care about surprises since I always spoilt them!haha. I was already very happy when you asked me to go kbox:) I just love singing, going to kbox was the right move:))

Although you said there wasn't anything much, asked me not to expect too much but there are still some surprises(even if it was simple). I don't care about the quantity, I care about the quality and the efforts put in. I can see the efforts put in by everyone to help me celebrate my birthday. I really appreciate it no matter what you all did. As I said before, I'm a simple person, so anything that you all did to make me happy, even if it's those really small stuff, I'll remember cause I've a good memory against small details:) Like you said, simple is happiness and happiness is simple:))

I know all 3 of you are busy but the point that all of you made an effort to squeeze some time out for me really makes me damn touched! First up was the card, didn't expect so many people to write birthday greetings for me, thanks for asking the colleagues to write, even if it was just a simple happy birthday, I love the card:)) I'm sorry I accidentally glanced at hk and saw her whispering to yx and seeing the card. I always spoilt surprises, sorry! Next was the cake, that one I really don't want to say, but it's very obvious can? You just passed your phone (straight through me, in case you didn't realise, I'm just sitting beside you, do you know?haha) for yx and hk to see, I tried to see but can't. So I tried to listen to what they are talking about and I wanted to follow hk out, but decided not to spoil the surprise any further by going the other direction haha.

I don't really eat cakes, so there's no need to buy cakes for me! But anyway, chocolate cake was the right choice, it's always the safest cake for me cause I don't eat alot of stuff, damn picky! Next time don't need to buy cake already cause I don't really eat sweet stuff, even sweets I'll also choose sour ones!haha, but I appreciate the efforts put in choosing the cake, I know you all had a hard time deciding! Thanks for singing the extremely long birthday song for me, have always felt awkward when people sing birthday songs for me while I stood there not knowing what to do. I was very awkward when the song didn't end immediately and still continue for so long!haha.

Last was the present, I love it, didn't expect such an expensive gift from you guys and Jacinta chipped in too. I realised all my friends are damn rich, is it because it's 21st birthday, that's why must buy expensive stuff? I should have told you all beforehand not to buy. Sorry for letting you all spend so much, sorry!

Anyway, thank you guys for making my birthday such a fun and enjoyable one, I really (x infinity) enjoyed myself yesterday:) THANK YOU!!!! YOU GUYS ARE TOO SWEET!!!:)))) too sweet for me to resist!haha.

Next up will be revision week, going to school and listen to all the lecturers talking & talking. Boring, guess I won't pay attention for very long, tend to drift off after a while. I will need to go to school on Saturday & Sunday, need to stay back from 7pm-10pm for continuous Maths 1 revision, my energy is going to be drained out from having 1 whole day of Maths 1 revision! Imagine 1 whole day having to listen and do Maths questions, kill me please so that I don't have to do it myself:(

I visited my colleagues on Friday to have lunch with them:) Miss them~~ But I'll be back, maybe~ haha. They have gotten used to not having me around already so if I never go back, I guess no one will miss me, won't feel a thing if I went back or not, so I guess it doesn't really matter if I went back or not...Let's see how things go first...

Went out with 6 members of ei8ht yesterday but there's 8 people cause Jackie brought his girlfriend there haha. We finally gave him his 21st birthday present cause we felt bad for going to his birthday party, leaving early and not bringing his present there! So that's our way of compensating, hope he likes the belt:)) After lunch, since lays & jy wanted to watch 127 hours, I accompanied them and dragged yl along, she didn't want to watch initially but we persuaded her haha. But I think she's abit emo yesterday, don't know is it we are forcing her to watch something she has no intention of watching or there's something else which affected her mood. I also never intend to watch that movie but since they requested, so I just compromised and went with it:)) Friends are supposed to accompany one another no matter what right? Since I'm free and always the willing party, I agreed to it, but I was rather afraid that yl was moody cause we sort of 'forced' her to watch?

Luckily, there's only the front seats left which we don't want, so we changed the movie to "No strings attached". I like that show, was hilarious, has quite alot of "sex scenes", that's why it's M18, but nevertheless, all that aside, I like the storyline:)) People always learnt how to cherish the things after they have lost it, sometimes they get it back but sometimes it's too late, that's life. Always treasure the people around you and don't treat them badly cause trust me, one day you're gonna regret losing them. Really, the pain of losing someone is unbearable, don't want any of you to feel that pain.

My siblings & cousins celebrated my birthday with me in the afternoon, played games with me, asked me to search for their messages hidden somewhere in the living room. I was asked to see some phrases they wrote for me and got to guess who's the one, if I'm correct, I'll be given a clue to find the stuff. Being an intelligent girl, I guessed it correctly except for one English phrase which I can't get it haha. But it was fun:)

Was out with min, bel & liz to celebrate my birthday on Monday:)) They tried to surprise me by buying a cupcake for me but since we were at sakae sushi, I could see them through the glass windows carrying the cupcake with candles on it walking towards us haha. Being paranoid as I am, I kept asking liz where are they since they took quite a long time to come back, turned out that they are not really used to using the lighter, couldn't light up the candles and they asked someone else to do it for them. They could have asked me since I know haha, that defeats the purpose of giving me a surprise. It's alright since I already saw you both through the glass windows haha, next time must remember to find a blind spot where I can't see you hehe. I should stop being so paranoid and keep guessing what my friends are up to, no wonder they like to scold me for spoiling surprises haha. I'm sorry! Thanks for the bracelet:)

Had a meet up with ei8ht on the 8th! Had a farewell dinner with mag since she's going to Tasmania for her studies on the 10th, took lots of unglam pictures on that day, but I like it:)) Gave mag guide to Tasmania and the dummies guide which we did for her. Played wii at jy's house and there's a game for us to hide the consoles and others got to find it, I won that game, damn scheming haha. Couldn't bear to look at mag when she started crying, I controlled my tears! Good job:)) Thanks yl for driving me home lately whenever we meet and to my doorstep somemore!haha, thanks!

Although we may seem different in our ways but there's bound to be something which binds us together:) We love to eat and we know when it's time to have fun or be serious:) We know when to do the right things at the right time. As time passes, I think we are really having much more chemistry between one another, sometimes there isn't a need to say much, we know when and what to say to one another to make them feel better, we know when it's time to show care & concern and stuff. It took us alot of time to be this close, I hope we won't suddenly drift apart, even if we did, I believe that our hearts will always be linked together:) We will always be there for one another, am I right?:))

Ei8ht will temporarily be left with 7, but we shall wait for mag's return to let us be reunited as ei8ht again:) Will still continue tagging her in our photos and we hope she will keep us updated as well:)) Still used to having 8 people in our clique, mag faster complete your studies and make sure you come back!:))

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR:)

I love the new year cause I'll get lots of red packets!!!haha, just like that I'll get the money for free without doing anything except to give some new year greetings:) I like to see the different pictures on the red packets too, I used to collect those really nice ones, now I'll just throw them away haha. My outfits for both days are blue, I freaking love blue!haha. I did put on the nail polish min gave me for Christmas:))

Today is the 6th of February, my birthday:)) I love 6 February:)) I love number 6, but I wish that it wasn't Satan's number, have already made some wishes for you guys!:) If most of your wishes came true, well, I think I may have play some part in helping you wish for that!haha. Been feeling rather tired these days & feeling cold, the weather these days is doing harm to me (even though I like the cool weather, but sometimes I can't take the cold).

I want to thank ei8ht and my siblings+cousins for organising a 'birthday party' for me at marina barrage:) After celebrating my sister's birthday, ei8ht contacted my sister and asked them to blindfold me and take me downstairs, yl then drove me to marina barrage. But halfway through, I couldn't sense my sister's presence(cause sheena & yl never talked but my sister will always talk to me), so I panicked and took down my blindfold, again their plan failed haha. I got scolded all the way from my house to marina barrage, but I still put the blindfold back on:( I swear it's not purposely, you all forgot to take into account that I'm stupid enough to panic haha but really, the feeling of not being able to see anything is enough to make a person be paranoid haha. But anyway, thanks ei8ht for making my birthday blue again, bringing 21 of my favourite food items, some of them I really don't know how you all know one haha. Thanks Maggie for wrapping my present 21 times! Lucky I have the patience to tear one by one:)) Thanks for letting me bring the balloons home, I love the balloons and it's my favourite shade of blue!:)) I'm damn happy right now:)) I like to play in between also!haha. It was fun and I really enjoyed myself, thank you loads! I LOVE YOU GUYS FOR MAKING MY 21ST BIRTHDAY SO MEMORABLE!!! True enough, only you all will do so much for me, I'm seriously damn touched:)) Don't know how to repay also, except help you all wish for the things you want:) Thank God I have you all in my life:))) I'm a fortunate girl:)) Thanks for the birthday wishes from everyone!:)

Min's 21st birthday party:))

Happy 21st birthday, Vanessa! Even though you are 3 days younger than me, but you celebrated your birthday earlier than me!haha. Met up with bel first since she doesn't know how to go and it was really convenient for me since min just live 1 block away from me haha. We went to write down our messages for her at her house downstairs and I think she must be thinking why are we so slow cause she called to check where were we haha. Didn't manage to find her chocolate syrup, so we got to eat the marshmallows as it is without dipping anything:( Bel and I were the early birds, we reached at around 3pm! Was playing around with her webcam while she dressed up haha. Bel & I put on the same nail polish & min was so disgusted when she looked at it haha. We were discussing issues about how awkward it is when others sing birthday song to you & you don't know what to do at that moment. Plus, we were afraid that it will be very awkward when it's time to sing birthday song but no one gather around her, she can't be asking them to gather around by herself right? So we came up with different types of plans but in the end it just happened naturally. There wasn't much awkwardness since everyone knows when is the right time to do what they are supposed to do, so there wasn't a need for any emcees:)) The markers (to write our messages for her on the black-board) ran out of ink and I taught them a trick to make it work, business students are the most intelligent!haha!

My schedule is rather packed with all the shopping to be done before CNY. I was out with sheena today for last minute shopping and managed to buy quite alot of stuff but the most unlucky thing is, both of us forgot to bring our umbrellas so we were soaked in the rain even though we tried going the other direction assuming there's shelter, but apparently there isn't any difference!

Next up will be CNY visits, my sister's and my birthday celebrations(my sister's birthday is just 1 day before mine), meeting ei8ht and sending maggie off to Tasmania, Jackie's 21st birthday party, couldn't attend Jerry's/Harry's birthday party cause it's on the same day as Jackie's, hopefully I'll be able to squeeze some time out for studying for my prelims (I only know econs prelim is on 28 Feb). It's too fast! By the time I'm done with all those stuff mentioned above, I estimate I'll only have about 2 more weeks before the prelims:( After prelims, there will be numerous revision classes and before I know it, it will be examination time, kill me please! I think most of you won't be able to see me for quite some time cause I'll be cooping myself up at home to study.
